Safety, Health &
Environmental Policy
Dominion Divers Ltd. is committed to a strong safety, health and environmental
program that protects its personnel, property, the public and the environment
from accidents.
Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and
held accountable for the company’s overall safety, health and environment
program implementation. Complete and active participation by everyone,
including diving crews, every day, in every job is necessary for the
excellence that the company expects. Management supports the coordination
of safety and environmental responsibilities among all workers and subcontractors
on all job sites.
Management supports and encourages participation in the safety, health
and environment program by all employees and provides proper equipment,
training and job procedures. Employees must follow all procedures and
work safely and responsibly, and wherever possible, improve safety,
health and environmental measures.
An incident free and environmentally responsible workplace is our
goal. Through continuous safety and loss control effort, and adhering
to the principles of safety, health and environment, we can accomplish
this goal.
It is the policy of Dominion Divers Ltd. to carry out all diving operations
in strict accordance with the CAN/CSA-Z275.2
Safety Code for Diving Operations, unless superceded by specific
provincial regulations.
This safety, health and environment policy does not take precedence
over any legislation or regulations, but supports our commitment to
fully comply with all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations,
and to Owners Safety Regulations as required.
